Last night I was trolling Facebook when my good friend Deb posted this pic of her craft haul from our local JoAnn’s. I was all, “WHAAAT!?” “There’s not much left!,” she said. “Better hurry over there tomorrow, Sara Jane.”
So this morning I wake up, hop in the shower, quickly get dressed. Who needs to blow dry, really? I didn’t even put my face on, y’all! I was ready to jump in the car at 8:10. Wait. Crud. They don’t open til 9. -_- uncool.
Fast forward to 9 am. I walk into JoAnn’s hoping for a few things left Tim Holtz that I can grab only to turn the corner of the aisle and see red tags galore! Holy moly, they had clearanced out the whole darn section! Okay maybe about 10 items were still regular price but that’s it. Everything was .97 to 1.97. Even the Compendium of Curiosities was on clearance – regular price $25.99 and marked down to $5.99! Seriously! Insane!

I know, right? Talk about one happy crafter… I cannot WAIT to start a new project.
My daughter has been dying to get one of those lanterns. I’m so glad I was able to get those for her. And I just pinned that tissue tape on Pinterest yesterday. Crinkle ribbon was .97, y’all. I got three of those. I am never buying ribbon again. Crinkle ribbon is so wonderful because you can custom dye it with inks to match your projects! Those enamel plaquettes – I’ve got a found object decor project waiting for those babies. The state stickers in the Destinations pad will be perfect for our license plate game in the car. That 7 gypsies stuff is for a special project I’m working on now. Shhh, don’t tell. It’s a surprise.
