I just finished one of the most honest books I’ve ever read. It’s so honest in fact that I couldn’t stop reading. It’s like the author was speaking words I couldn’t say. Not even to myself, afraid I would be struck down dead or I would hate myself for my thoughts. I just read and read. Like I was breathing in and out every word.
The book was Blue Like Jazz. The author was Don Miller. If you’re going to take the time to read the book, listen to it being read by Don, himself. It’s worth it. Plus you’ll get through it faster and can therefore listen to it again sooner. You’ll want to.
