Today was a great day spent at the park. My local homeschool group meets once a month during the summer at a state park. I always forget the date and find out how much fun everyone had later on. If you’re a Sonlighter, you probably have this book. It’s a resource used in Core 2. The cover will also look familiar to many seminary students as it is very similar to the cover of another book called Operation World. New goodies…
We are in full swing this week with plenty of work to do. This week we started a new Bible study for our evening Bible time lessons. We are using the New Testament Overview from Grapevine Studies. If you’ve not seen these, you must check them out. We are taking a trip through the entire New Testament with stick-figure drawings. The Walid Jar…
My family and I were introduced to a man from the country of Lebanon in the early months of this year. Walid had been spoken of in our “Mission Moments” at church a few times and we became interested in this man and his ministry. Sonlight and Workboxes
Getting back to my two favorite homeschool subjects this week – Sonlight and Workboxes – I thought you might like to know how we’re combining the two. Let’s jump in! 2 cores/4 kids – This coming year we will be doing Core K (with 5 and 6 year olds) and Core 3 (with 8 and 10 year olds).
