Do you have a math whiz in your house? Or maybe you have the opposite? Well, here in the O’ house, we have one of each. Funny thing is, the math whiz is extremely cautious – always doubting himself. I have been absent quite a bit here in blogland. Sorry for that. I’ve been dealing with some health issues; and between the lab visits, dr. visits and surgery center, blogging time has escaped me. I have another couple months of poking and prodding left. Hopefully, after that, things will slow down. School starts next week. (yay!) I’m ready for a new year. Making aprons
This week I made some aprons for my girls. They are 8 years old and 5 years old. We have always been committed to teaching our girls to dress modestly and to explaining why they need to do so. Our oldest girl, Abs, has been having a very difficult time lately with her dress. It seems that over the past year her weight, and figure in general, has drastically changed. Sense & Sensibility…
Today, I made THE cutest thing ever! It’s the Girl’s Edwardian Apron from Sense & Sensibility. I’ve admired the patterns at Sense & Sensibility for a couple years now – drooled over the dresses and wished I could make one. But I am NO seamstress and the thought of just an apron was challenging enough!
