After the success of the twirly skirt I decided to attempt an adult skirt. I was able to get three crisp white heavy linen sheets at the Goodwill for $2.00 each. They are perfect – no spot or tear. A couple weeks ago I ventured into sewing clothes. First day of the new school year…
Yesterday was the first day of the new school year. Yaaaay! I just love cracking open brand new books. They’re so full of promise, adventure, learning. We started several new things yesterday. I focused mostly on the olders and started the youngers today. For them, everything is mostly the same. New coverings…
This conviction God has laid on my heart continues to grow stronger. I’ve really felt the need to cover full time but when you only have one covering… that’s brown… well, you can’t wear brown with everything. Breaking Bread…
I used to love the PBS show, Breaking Bread with Father Dominic. I wonder if anyone else remembers that one. It’s not on around here anymore. I sure miss that show. There really is something special and alluring about home-baked bread. I used to make home-baked pizza dough all the time and my family beg for it constantly.
