It’s been a busy couple weeks around here at the O’shea homeschool. We got our baby girl along with a couple other surprises like hypertension and medicinal side effects such as constant fatigue and low milk supply. Oh. And jaundice. So how does one keep a homeschool going when you sleep for three hours at a time twice a day (not including the night hours) and you nurse a baby then pump every two hours? Simple. a new baby…
Seventeen days ago, at 10:10 am, our Talitha Rose was born. It’s been a crazy, emotional two and a half weeks. (Aren’t they all that follow the birth of a baby?) In the past, our oldest was still only 5 years of age when the youngest ... continue reading...
Thanksgiving freebie…
If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary for your school time this week, I’ve got something for ya. You can pick up a free m4b of The Legend of Squanto from the Focus on the Family Radio Theatre Series over at Christianbook.com. This would be a great travel activity as well! Give the kiddos some coloring pages and let them listen along to the dramatized story while heading to Grandma’s tomorrow (or wherever it is that you go). To get the free download, ... continue reading...
