Travel sketches We did a bit of traveling in February so my art journaling time was limited. Instead, I made some Traveler’s Notebook inserts to take along with me and I sketched and painted in those. I love using TN inserts for traveling. In my Wanderlust 2017 art journal I did some watercolor painting. This class was taught by Wilna Furstenberg. She had a casual pace and open flow style. The adventure continues in painting and my art journal. Sweets and Lola In my “Let the Paint Speak” class, I worked on a canvas board about 16”x20” I think. This one was a little bit of a challenge and I’m still not sure it’s done. The background was coming along nicely. I’m really drawn to these blues and greys.
