I love the file box system used in this curriculum. It’s a quick and easy way to see at-a-glance what we are working on, what’s next and what we need to review. This is a ton on information all fitting neatly into an index file box! I actually look organized! =-) My son really enjoyed marking the progress chart after each lesson. It was his proof positive for a job well done and truly a lesson learned. Review is built into this system so don’t worry about forgetting what you covered three weeks ago. The activities with the letter tiles and colored chips kept his little scattered brain focused on the job at hand. Really, he enjoys this learning time.
As much as we like All About Spelling, I wish that it also taught grammar and handwriting! I can’t wait to see what else the folks at AAS have in store for future products…
